Ensuring Your Health and Well-Being as You Care for COVID-19 Patients

Whether you are on the front lines of this pandemic – perhaps taking on extra shifts at your facility or working locum tenens – or at home, maybe on quarantine or caring for your children, please know that you are in our thoughts. This is an especially challenging time for providers, and we are eternally grateful for all you do to bring quality healthcare to your patients.

It’s National Public Health Week, established to bring communities across the United States together to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues important to improving it. While it is important to acknowledge its importance, now more than ever, it is even more vital that you and your colleagues take extra measures to ensure your physical health as well as your mental well-being.

While you are undoubtedly aware that there are excellent resources available to help physicians, advanced practitioners, and other clinicians care for themselves during times of stress and crisis, some providers may, unwittingly, keep their focus solely on the health and well-being of others. Here, we are pleased to share links to resources from the American Medical Association (AMA) and the National Academy of Medicine. We hope you find them beneficial.

Thank you, again, for all you do to keep patients healthy. All Star Healthcare Solutions (formerly All Star Recruiting) remains committed to you and your professional growth and aspirations, and we are here to support you whenever you need us.

If you are available and interested in exploring locum tenens and/or permanent opportunities, please reach out to your dedicated All Star consultant, who continues to work remotely from home to flatten the curve and support providers everywhere. Or, call 800-928-0229 today.
