All Star CEO Keith Shattuck Appointed to Jorge Nation Foundation Inc. (JNF) Board of Directors

All Star Recruiting (now All Star Healthcare Solutions), one of America’s fastest-growing healthcare staffing companies, announced Wednesday, November 28, 2018, that its CEO, Keith Shattuck, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Jorge Nation Foundation Inc. (JNF), established in May 2011 in honor of Jorge Brouwer. The appointment comes from JNF President Ruben E. Socarras.

“I first learned about JNF a few years ago from my friend, Ruben,” said Shattuck. “Since then—along with my wife, Lori, and son, Tyler—I have been an avid supporter, hosting events at All Star and personally raising funds to help chronically and incurably ill kids in our region and their families experience one-of-a-kind Dream Trips. Seeing the expressions on the children’s faces and knowing they will have a fun and extraordinary trip with their parents and possibly other loved ones has been the greatest reward for my family and me.”

Shattuck will bring his unique perspectives and leadership experience to the JNF’s Board of Directors. He is actively involved with and generously supports other charitable organizations as well. With his All Star family, Shattuck champions Share-A-Pet, one of four national pet therapy organizations, in its fundraising efforts, such as the organization’s flagship brunch held in the spring. Recent causes Shattuck and All Star have supported include Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Movember, and relief efforts for an employee’s family who sustained damage and loss due to Hurricane Michael.

About Jorge Nation Foundation (JNF)

JNF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to send South Florida-based children with a terminal or debilitating health condition or illness, and their families, on an all-expenses-paid Dream Trip to a destination of their choice. The organization partners with the area’s leading pediatric hospitals, including Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, for the purpose of referring qualified children and families for consideration. JNF is run solely by its Board of Directors, and one hundred percent of the proceeds it raises support its mission.
