Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Locum Tenens Job in Georgia

 Schedule: 

• Full-Time needed
• Monday-Friday (8a-5p)
• START: ASAP
• Credentialing = 30-45 days
• No nights, no call, no weekends

Details: 

• Public Service, clinic environment, servicing homeless and underserved on an outpatient basis
• 13 patients per day is the target
• Patient population: mostly adults
• Must be willing to be trained to work with HIV candidates and Integrated BH. This will not be their permanent duties, but they may be asked to cover in these areas of the clinic. They regularly care for patients with HIV. There is Infectious Disease backup.
• EMR: Epic
• Will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
• Defibrillator available: AED
• Must be comfortable performing pelvic exams and pap smears and employment physicals. 

Requirements:

• Must be commutable.  Local only
• Mileage is reimbursed
• Client will not pay for hotel, rental car, or lodging
• Active GA license or active IMLC with proof of LOQ in-hand
• 2 years of experience post training
• Must be willing to work between two nearby locations
• Covid Vaccine
• Familiarity and experience in treating medically underserved and immigrant populations, including dealing with patients of diverse backgrounds, with experience in treating the homeless - Highly Preferred 
• Experience in the supervision of professional staff and/or administrative experience - Preferred
