Locum Radiologist with Breast Imaging Expertise needed

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist for locum coverage in Illinois. Some details include:

• Mix of on-site and remote coverage across multiple outpatient imaging centers
• Coverage includes both screening and diagnostic mammography across three sites
• Average daily volumes:
  • Primary site: ~55–65 patients per day
  • Additional sites: ~10–15 patients per day (part-time coverage during the week)
• Equipment includes Hologic and Siemens mammography units
• Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsies
• Biopsy procedures performed at the primary site (ultrasound-guided and stereotactic)
• Automated whole breast ultrasound (ABUS) available on select days

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Coverage needed midweek for breast imaging, with one additional day for general radiology
• No call required

Requirements:

• MQSA certification required
• Fellowship preferred but not required
• Open to general radiologists with mammography training

Systems:

• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: PowerScribe
• PACS: McKesson

Support:

• Dedicated technologist support across modalities including mammography, ultrasound, and bone density

Additional Details:

• Ongoing need with potential for consistent scheduling
• Must be licensed in Illinois
• Start as soon as credentialed
