Assignment Details
- Reason for Coverage: 3-month maternity leave
- Dates of Coverage: September – December 2026
- Travel: Providers must be local; mileage reimbursement only
- CT license required
Practice Setting
- Schedule:
- 4 days outpatient (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Clinic hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call responsibilities included
- Call Schedule:
- 1:3 rotation
- Weeknight call
- Weekend call: Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Patient Population
- Adult and geriatric patients (primarily)
Case Mix
- Hematology: 60%
- Oncology: 40%
- Internal Medicine: 0%
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care
- Participation in tumor board
- Ordering tests and imaging
- Prescribing treatments
Practice Details
- Physician Team: 3 physicians (one on maternity leave)
- Advanced Practice Providers: 2 APPs
- Radiation Oncology: Available on-site
- Average Daily Volume:
- Outpatient: 15–16 patients
- Inpatient (rounding/call): ~1–5 patients

- Hospital Designation: Level II Trauma Center
- EMR: EPIC
- Chemotherapy Administration: Managed by oncology nursing staff
