- Patient Population/Case Load: Adult population; mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Call Coverage: Taking shared call (only 14 - 21 days a year)
- Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief of Urology to lead a well-established urology department in beautiful Colorado. This is a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible urologist with a passion for clinical excellence, innovation, and team development.
The successful candidate will oversee clinical operations, mentor junior providers, and collaborate with hospital leadership to expand and enhance urologic services. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of urologic care in a thriving medical community while maintaining a robust clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the urology department, including clinical oversight and strategic planning
- Provide high-quality urologic care to a diverse adult patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
- This position is in an academic hospital, teaching residents and fellows
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited urology residency
- Board Certified in Urology
- Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Proven leadership experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
