Additional Information

 Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating weekends as needed
• First-call coverage required
• Minimum 6 night calls per month (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Average callback: 1–2 per month

Requirements

• PA-C or AGACNP
• Active Florida license preferred (licensing candidates considered)
• EVH certification preferred
• Must have recent Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• Must be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (Maquet EVH experience preferred)
• Comfortable serving as CT Surgery First Assist
• Strong CVICU and telemetry rounding experience

Clinical Practice

• Inpatient only
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• First Assist in CT Surgery
• CVICU rounding
• Telemetry rounding
• First-call surgical coverage

Case Mix

• Approximately 20–30 cardiac surgeries per month
• 75% CABG
• 25% Valve & Aortic procedures
• No trauma
• Local referral bas
