A facility is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant for neonatology locum tenens coverage. The role is inpatient-based in a high-acuity Level IV NICU, where APPs oversee daily neonatal care and participate in ground and air transport.

  • Saturday – Sunday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.

  • Optional 24-hour shifts available any day

• Support Staff:

  • 5–6 APPs on weekday day shifts

  • 2–3 APPs on evening, night, and weekend shifts

• Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily neonatal care

  • Perform neonatal procedures

  • Participate in ground and air transport

• Experience Requirements: Two years of neonatal experience; transport orientation required
