Seeking multiple IME (Independent Medical Examination) providers to cover New York State, including the five boroughs and Long Island for Neurology

Key Details:

  • No patient contact: IME exams involve observation and evaluation only — no touching or treatment of the patient.
  • Case review: Providers must review case logs prior to insurance claims.
  • Coverage: Need multiple providers to ensure adequate coverage across NYS, focusing on the five boroughs and Long Island.
  • Certification: Workers’ Compensation certification is required.
  • Credentialing: Providers must complete the COI credentialing process. ( Takes a few days)
  • Malpractice: Coverage for malpractice is provided.

Role Description:

  • Perform expert witness-style examinations (no treatment, no continuity of care, low liability).
  • No patient-provider relationship is established — this significantly reduces liability.
  • Ancillary staff and scribes assist with report writing and clinical workflow.
