• Call: Emergency after-hours call team with 30-minute response time; VBAC may require in-house presence

• Support Staff:

  • One anesthesia provider

  • One circulator

  • One scrub

  • One PACU RN

• Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Orthopedics and spine: TKA, THA, TSA, extremity fractures, pediatric ortho, fusions, laminectomy, kyphoplasty

  • OBGYN: labor epidurals, C-sections, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy

  • Ophthalmology: cataract surgery

  • General surgery: laparoscopy, hernia repair, colectomy, minor procedures

  • GI: colonoscopy, EGD (all propofol)

  • Pain management: MAC support for dedicated pain physician

  • Pediatric dental: two days per month

  • Cardiac: cardioversion in PACU
